Meet Dr. Lynn Chang

Coming from a long lineage of professors in China, education runs in my blood. I teach people how to listen from within and make courageous choices that fulfill their lives and help the world.

I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Colorado State University in 2003, and have worked as a university career counselor, adjunct professor, guest speaker, therapist, psychometrist, and body image researcher. Each position has been an exciting experience along my career journey. All of us are on a journey-- where is your adventure leading you?

As a career counselor at The University of Texas at Austin for 12 years, I taught students how to discover their life path and make the best career decisions for them. Now I'm doing the same for the grown-ups! It's incredibly rewarding to teach people how to figure out who they really are and what they're truly meant to do. That's CAREER ZEN.

My job is to teach you to trust yourself.

Lynn is very passionate about helping others, and the work I have done with her has been life changing.

Know yourself.   Have faith.   Choose JOY.

I have come to a point in my career where my eastern spiritual studies greatly inform my work with clients. It is incredibly rewarding to infuse career principles with yoga and meditation, spirituality and philosophy, positive psychology, shamanism, and quantum physics. For me, all of these studies come together to explain our Life's Purpose.

CAREER ZEN helps people find fulfillment in work and life. It's not just about finding a job but a rewarding career that gives back to society. And living from an authentic place of peace and joy. I offer consultations, group classes, workshops and presentations, special events and retreats!

CAREER ZEN IS NOT: Career Counseling or Therapy-- If you have major life concerns that are impeding your overall fulfillment, please address these first with a counselor. Career Coaching-- If you feel stalled, then working with a career coach who has 3-6 month packages can keep you accountable and motivated with action plans.

my work does not even feel like work- it is simply enjoyable, meaningful, and rewarding. And that is my wish for all of you.

Who is my inspiration? Every human being I meet.
